This is decent little book (more of a pamphlet at 34 pages). It tells you the basic set up for how to make a salve, which is nice for those who do not know anything about it. The following chapters are about what herbs or essential oils to use for different applications, such as a bruise/scrape salve or for concentration. This is nice, but I wish the author expanded upon this and offered descriptions of why each herb or oil is good for its listed ailment. Knowing about the properties of each herb or oil can help you formulate your own recipes.I guess this is worth $2.99 to have on hand as a quick reference, but I really wish there was more to it.
If you want to start making salves, this is a nice book to look through. However, if you know anything at all about it, this is common knowledge that you should already know.
